A Strong Soundtrack from a Unique Pairing (5 stars)
Who would have thought the pairing of Fast and Furious’ Brian Tyler and Tim Burton regular Danny Elfman would have made for something quite extraordinary?

For two composers so dissimilar in style, it’s remarkable this soundtrack feels very cohesive in structure. If you didn’t know who was credited with what track, you would never guess which track was Tyler’s and which was Elfman’s. In fact, it’s Elfman that gears hims

It’s good… but only because of Elfman (4 stars)
Looks like Danny did quite a bit of damage control. Tyler’s IM3 and Thor scores were good because the themes he created were distinct. This time around his tracks are generic. You could literally play them in any action movie and they would fit.

Fricking genius. (5 stars)
Danny Elfman's take on the Avenger's theme has been such a great listen. I am glad he was given the opportunity to bring some wonderful music to the table. Unfortunately, there is many tracked cues in the film (Silvestri's cues from the first film placed in this one) but it is still a great score. There are also a few missing cues that are in the film that I would love to have. One being the female vocals track nearing the end of the film. I
