The White Stripes know what rock is... (5 stars)
This is one of the best songs off of Icky Thump, and the alternate version is very stripped down and primal. The acoustic version of "A Martyr For My Love For You" only enhances Jack White's already tender love song. I love everything The White Stripes do.

I dont understand how someone can say that their music is starting to sound the same. I believe this album is, besides De Stijl, their most musically creative album. I mean they use bagpipes on two tracks and they blend wonderfully, melotron, which will enhance any White Stripes song, and last but not least Meg has improved greatly in her drumming.
