JOHN LENNON WOULD BE PROUD (5 stars)
This video is amazing! It brings a whole new level of meaning to the song-adding the tragedy that is Darfur to the images and lyrics-John would surely approve. Green Day just gets better with everything they do. I am glad to see them delivering such an important message with their music and bringing it to their fan's hearts.

100% Worth Purchasing (5 stars)
A great song, written by a musical genius, covered by one of the best bands in the world, and for a charity going towards Amnesty International and the conflict in Darfur...any one of these reasons is good enough to purchase this video let alone all of them combined. Green Day more than does John Lennon and the rest of the world justice with their cover and video.

Good work on a great song (4 stars)
The original "Working Class Hero" was a great song, and Green Day did a great job covering it. The song itself is well done; Billy Joe's vocals add a good dark tone to the already desparate lyrics. The video is edgy, with the black and white shots having a somewhat shaky, blurry effect, adding to the helpless feel. Out of all the post-Nirvana alternative bands to break into the pop mainstream, Green Day were second only to Pearl Jam in terms of influence. At their core, Green Day were simply punk revivalists who recharged the energy of speedy, catchy three-chord punk-pop songs.
