Best Album Of The Decade (5 stars)
I have owned every album Queen has ever made. The 70's were great for Queen. They made a number of fantastic albums and I played each one til the vinyl wore out. But, once Hot Space came out, I was a bit disenchanted with them. It wasnt until The Works was released in late 1984 that I regained my faith in them. Great Album (5 stars)
Hammer to Fall is my favorite song other than bohemian rhapsody. It is so good if you're a queen fan buy it right now. Also I want to break free written by john deacon is amazing

For someone who is discovering the magic of life this album is the perfect soundtrack. (5 stars)
This album has some really good songs on it, hammer to Fall is my favorite. Excellent voice as well as impressive guitar and rhythm section and a good coda to boot. this album has the feel and consistancy that Queen are praised for. The only weak points might be the dated Machines and a slew of ballads that are musically elementary. For someone who is discovering the magic of life this album is the perfect soundtrack.

Queen's music was a bizarre yet highly accessible fusion of the macho and the fey. For years, their albums boasted the motto "no synthesizers were used on this record," signaling their allegiance with the legions...
