Was this really nessicary? (3 stars)
As a single disc intro to Depeche Mode for those not familiar, this album works fine, although the collection (and the public) would have been better served by replacing the added remixes with more familiar tracks...like "Policy of Truth", "Love In Itself", "Behind the Wheel", "Blasphemous Rumours", or "Stripped" or (*insert another title here*)...or maybe some other new tracks? Great Music but... (4 stars)
If you're a 'Mode' fan you'll have all of these already. The only thing I wanted off of this was the remixes and you have to buy the whole 'job lot' to get them, which for me, is a huge waste of a 20.

Don't plame the mode! (2 stars)
I have been a D.m. fan for the last 20 years, and have all of the cataloge++++. So why buy this on beside to add one more to the collection? A few new mix's, that are ok. As far as leaving out Black Celabration I'm sure it was the record company's fault for the huge oversite. i Tunes you should be ashamed to force fans to spend 20 dollars in an attempt to make more cash.
