One and indivisible (5 stars)
This is undoubtably one of the most prolific albums the Doob's ever produced. Michael MacDonald's addition to the band gave them a different sound, but what he brought to the band was a change to be sure, however the sound also brought out new harmonies and allowed Pat and John and the others to expand their musical expertise by letting them play from the heart. It did diverted them from their rock band style but they kept there original

Never turn down a Doobie . . (5 stars)
Fat Elvis,,Skinny Elvis . . David Lee Roth or Van Hagar ??I like both T.J. and M.M. I was 15 when this came out and was still getting my musical bearings. Older brothers and sisters,,no XM or i-tunes so you took what was out there and "" Oh Oh Oh Listend to the Music"".This is a great album.IMHO.....

Boring Boring BORING! (1 star)
Micheal McDonald ruins the Doobie's rockin' guitar oriented sound with his lame keyboards and crappy vocals. You either love him or hate him, as for me and my freinds at the time it's impossible to describe our dissapointment with this and all albums with this schlock monster involved! The Doobie's did recover and reclaim their clasic rock guitar when Tom Johnston reunited the band in the early '90's and they're still rockin' today makin' up
