Like he told us it sounds different. Not gonna lie don't like it as much as his older work. But I know it will grow on me. Gold has already grown on me. Can't wait for the whole record. I hope he continues to experiment with his sound. Adam young best artist ever.

Amazing! (5 stars)
I've listen to Owl City since 2008 and his music just keeps getting better and better! I can't listen to "Shooting Star" without dancing. Adam Young said "There is no old Adam Young, there is no new Adam Young, merely different colors and different brushstrokes over the same canvas. " I cannot wait for the full album. Good work, Adam. He has not changed because his music still amazes me.

Owl City is the musical brainchild of Adam Young, who launched the project in 2007 while living at his parents' home in Owatonna, Minnesota. Troubled by insomnia, Young began spending his evenings in the household basement, where a computer and several instruments provided a diversion from his sleeping patterns. He eventually combined those diversions into a blend of electronica and emo-pop, using little more than his computer and various keyboards to record the material. Songs were uploaded to MySpace...
