The Peak of the Gabriel Era (5 stars)
By far the best album the Genesis made with Gabriel around, even though Lamb Lies down on Broadway had some glorious moments. This is the best album put out by the classic Genesis lineup. Banks, Collins, Gabriel, Hackett, and Rutherford put everything together with a combination of real talent, experience, and cohesion. The sound had matured by this point, and everyone knew what to expect from each other.
