Adam Young Does It Agaiin (5 stars)
This song takes a fun turn for Owl City. Rather than focusing on more abstract things (which I love, don't get me wrong), he takes this song and focuses on the little things that make moments great. From gliding away in a sleigh and sipping on moonlight to slipping on a sidewalk and falling on his face, this song takes you on a journey that just FEELS like winter in all its cheery greatness. Owl City is the musical brainchild of Adam Young, who launched the project in 2007 while living at his parents' home in Owatonna, Minnesota. Troubled by insomnia, Young began spending his evenings in the household basement, where a computer and several instruments provided a diversion from his sleeping patterns. He eventually combined those diversions into a blend of electronica and emo-pop, using little more than his computer and various keyboards to record the material. Songs were uploaded to MySpace...
