It is rather odd that any free American should tell a musician to stay out of politics; when in a democratic society, it is the people who not only have the right to free expression but also form the foundation and power of our government. Remember, we the people form the union in both its perfection and flaws. As for the music, the song reflects joy about the possibilities of change – and that backup singer is awesome.
