Good collection (4 stars)
It is hard to sift through the myriad of collections that have come out in recent years on the jazz legends. This is a good one. And while Mr. Armstong is a classic, there is an obvious error in the itunes store album review. Mr. Armstrong was born in 1901 not 1801, he wasn't quite that ahead of his time.
Missing early part of the songs (1 star)
I am giving this a low review because even though the collection is great and the quality is really good I was very disappointed when I got the downloaded version from iTunes Store. All the songs are missing about a second of it in the beginning. I guess, you can call it a defective collection, at least the iTunes version. I knew there was something wrong on each one I just couldn't pin point it at first. Be aware of this.
Great album from a great musician. (5 stars)
A very good compilation of music, consisting of a lot of Satchmo's greatest ever songs.
