Wolf Trap Doobs are great (5 stars)
Having attended more than a few concerts at the legendary Virginia venue, this is one I really wish I'd seen. I've seen the HD Net telecast about 20 times and never tire of the Doobs' musical versatility and rockin' good times. Of particular note, to me anyway, are 5 Corners and Steamer Lane, both instrumentals, that feature the virtuosity of guitarists Pat Simmons and John McFee. Terrific music with state of the art concert sound (5 stars)
I'm in a band that covers some of the Doobies' work. This is a terrific album because of the added TOP horns! The different riffs throughout the songs bring back lots of nostalgia, but the crispness of the live sound is amazing. The horns add just the right spice to bring these classics to modern audiences.

The Doobie Brothers Live At Wolf Trap (3 stars)
I Love the Doobie Brothers music, back and now but this album clarity was not real good. I liked the songs they did, they just was as clear as I would like them to be. I don't know if it was the equipment or where they were recording live at. It just was not as clear sound wise as it should be. It was still fun to go back a few years and listen to really good group perform again.
