Rod Stewart..before he got wierd (4 stars)
Yep this is a collection of Rod Stewart on the Mercury label, the good stuff. Check out some of the lesser known "Gasoline Alley" "Mandolin Wind" and "Lost Paraguayos." Before he sang about "do you think i'm sexy" he had a soulful, folky sound, and although there are many covers on this collection, they sound great(except street fighting man, i can't listen to that compared to the stones).

Rod Stewarts voice is amazing and this album rocks. All his best are here.
