Get the Video Up on Itunes Apple! (5 stars)
Great CD, but the original CD had a mpeg video buried on it that you wouldn't find unless you opened the CD up on your computer. It was a great interview with Ray Charles at a photo shoot for this CD. Fantastic interview to go along with a fantastic CD.

True Genius (5 stars)
The album takes you all the way back with the classic voices of yesterday and the smooth silky voices of Norah and Diana. It's a great album to sit back and sip coffee, whisky, iced-tea or anything. Download it, close your eyes, and relax. You'll love it. I'm writing this review while watching the "Ray" DVD - sights and sounds....all in one.

I love this album. There are so many wonderful songs and they are all done wonderfully. Ray Charles is a brilliant musician and each of the artists singing with him bring a new flair to each song. I highly recommend this album.

Ray Charles was the musician most responsible for developing soul music. Singers like Sam Cooke and Jackie Wilson also did a great deal to pioneer the form, but Charles did even more to devise a new form of black pop by merging '50s R&B with gospel-powered vocals, adding plenty of flavor from contemporary jazz, blues, and (in the '60s) country. Then there was his singing; his style was among the most emotional and easily identifiable of any 20th century performer, up there with the likes of Elvis...
