SSPU will not disappoint. After listening to one song, I think it’s safe to say this album is going to be beautiful.

I wasn’t very impressed with the release of the last album. I felt it went a direction that wasn’t really them. I feel the label and producer may have helped in that matter. When I seen they had their own label now and a different producer I instantly had high hopes and so far have not been let down. It’s poppy, but it’s original, and it’s them and I couldn’t ask for more.

Los Angeles indie rockers whose organic but richly atmospheric sound (and their subsequent critical and commercial success) helped put the uber-hip Silver Lake scene on the map, Silversun Pickups were formed in 2002, initially using the name A Couple of Couples. The original handle reflected the fact that in the band's first lineup, lead guitarist Brian Aubert was romantically involved with drummer Elvira Gonzales, while rhythm guitarist Jack Kennedy was in a relationship with bassist Nikki Monninger....
