Apparently, this compilation will only have 2 new songs. So it is not that exciting if you own her other hymn albums. Those hymns are great, don’t get me wrong, but it would have been nice to have a new album of material instead of just another re-packaging.

'Be Still And Know...Hymns & Faith' features several tracks from previously released projects 'Legacy...Hymns & Faith' and 'Rock of Ages...Hymns & Faith.' The record includes two newly-recorded songs produced by Vince Gill: "Power In The Blood" and "Be Still And Know." It also includes "Jesus Take All Of Me (Just As I Am)" from the Billy Graham inspired album 'My Hope.'

Although Amy Grant cannot claim to have invented the contemporary Christian music (CCM) style of gospel music, she did the most to popularize it in the 1970s and 1980s before successfully crossing over to pop music in the '80s and early '90s.
