I have not been able to find my old vinyl album, but don't have a turntable anymore, anyway. These songs take me back to that night in an incredible way, and these songs sound as wonderful as they did in person, with the incredible accoustics of the Unversal Ampitheater, and John Denver's incredible musical talent and depth. If you own only on Classic John Denver in an incredibly acoustic recording! (5 stars) This to me is the greatest of all John Denver albums. I grew up listening to my Mom's 8 track version of this album. The acoustics in this recording are incredible for the time, and better than most modern live recordings today. The only recording of my favorite John Denver song, Annie's other Song, is included...you can clearly hear every instrument on the stage. John is at his best, jovial and laughing...the way he should always be remembe A Fan For Life (5 stars) It was because of this album I spent a cold night waiting for tickets for his next concert at Universal Studios Amphitheater in 1976. I've never forgotten the comraderie of that night, or the other time I spent waiting again for tickets -- this time at the Anaheim Convention Center.
