PERFECT! for our image of American youth...

Rating: 1/10

I think this movie shows exactly how Hollywood sees America's youth. Compelled by fashionably dressed model women, sometimes half naked, bright colors, spooky images and scenes that are only there to make you jump. Oh... and I forgot, no brains. They think you're all idiots so they give you this cliché garbage.

Skinny attractive woman who couldn't act if it were cursed on her, walks around always looking fresh and dumb in designer clothes. This movie is about as intelligent as a log. Everything seems forced and none of it is original or done in a compelling way. I have to wonder if English was the native language of the director since most of the dialog is unacceptably terrible. Many times I cringed or laughed at things that I knew weren't meant to have that kind of reaction.

Poorly paced, poorly written, poorly acted, the effects are okay. I haven't seen the original, but conceptually, this movie could have been great if it were done the right way. Unfortunately, it was not. F-

In the scene where Tun and Jane examine ghost photos affixed to a wall, there is a enlarged photo of a ghost standing near bookshelves with tables in the foreground. This is a screenshot from the Williard Library "ghostcam". The Willard Library is located in Evansville, Indiana USA and in recent years, has become very popular for its website where visitors can view the webcam surveilance 24 hours a day for paranormal activity.

Tun: [Tun is working in the dark room when someone walks beside him and stands there. He does not look up]
Tun: Jane? You're early.
Tun: [Telephone rings outside, Tun goes to answer it] Hello?
Jane: Tun. Its Jane. I'm going to be a little late today.

This one WILL scare you

Rating: 10/10

First of all, if you're a horror fan, see it. You will enjoy this film. Period.

Know this - I've seen a billion horror flicks from all around the world... This one gave me the creeps. First 20-30 minutes you still have time to relax from scare to scare, but from then on it's just plain scary shiyet.

This movie gets you in the right atmosphere right from the start, and it has almost every type of scene a horror fan can ask for (You'll know what I mean when you see it). I don't really care much about originality, but the story is original and interesting. The best thing about it, though, is the girl who portrays the ghost. I don't know where they found this freaky girl, but she's PERFECT for this role, and by far the scariest character I've seen in Asian horror films.

I hope the 2 fellows who made this film, make another horror flick, because, although they're young, it's obvious they know what they're doing. NICE ONE.
