Biography

Working under the name Good People when they produce their own music, Toronto producers Majid Al Maskati and Jordan Ullman are known as Majid Jordan when they produce for other artists. The alternative R&B and underground hip-hop duo met while attending the University of Toronto. In early 2013 they dropped their debut Good People EP, After Hours, as a free download, then later in the year the Drake track "Hold on, We're Going Home" appeared as a "featuring Majid Jordan" release. The track climbed into Billboard's Top Ten in the summer of that year, right as it was announced that the duo signed with Drake's OVO Music. The label released their EP A Place Like This in 2014, while the singles "My Love" and "Something About You" landed a year later. ~ David Jeffries
