What a great combination Marsalis and Clapton! This is a great album full of rich texture from two of my favorite musicians. Download this today, sit back, relax, and enjoy it. Also, if you like discovering new music I found a new cat by the name of Buddy Mix who has some great songs. Go search for Buddy Mix Why Goodbye EP here on itunes. I love his songs "Why Goodbye" and "Only a Miracle", but the whole EP is superb. I r

What a Blast!! (5 stars)
I had already pre-ordered this live album, when I found out that the concert film was being shown in theaters last week. As a huge Clapton fan for a number of years, I immediately got a ticket. I give Clapton the credit for teaching me to love & appreciate the Blues. To see him finally play with an honest to God jazz band, was beyond belief. By the time Eric Clapton launched his solo career with the release of his self-titled debut album in mid-1970, he was long established as one of the world's major rock stars due to his group affiliations — the Yardbirds, John Mayall's Bluesbreakers, Cream, and Blind Faith — which had demonstrated his claim to being the best rock guitarist of his generation. That it took Clapton so long to go out on his own, however, was evidence of a degree of reticence unusual for one of his stature....
