Welcome to Haiti – Creole 101 – Wyclef JeanView More By Wyclef Jean. Customer ReviewsFor The Hatians (5 stars)You have to love Copa to really understand this album. Wyclef mixes Copa with hip-hop to make a great album. Copa has much work ahead if it wants to be the new reagee! On some songs, Wyclef isn't afraid to switch from english to creole. "Lavi New York," "Hatian Mafia" "Fistibal," and "24 E Tan Pou viv" are great songs to donload. georgeous (5 stars) Always fresh, always unique "Welcome to Haiti" is a perfect example of a work created by a true artist who is always a few steps ahead of the game This album has everything; calm, sweet inspring songs such as "President" as well as Crazy adrenaline pumpers such as "Lavi New York" this album's got it all...the result? an icredibly eclectic original showcase of what real music is all about Do yourself a favor HaitI!! Putting aside the awesome beats and kreyol lyrics with a mix of caribbean (haitian) and hip hop, this album has something to offer that most albums don't now-a-days: meaning, soul, rythem, you name it! I absolutely looove his songs! Even all my friends ( who aren't african) like most of his songs. If you have appreciation for good music, then you'll love Wyclef!
