"So so" full-circle single (3 stars)
I'm an enormous Shiny Toy Guns fan. More specifically, I'm an enormous Carah Faye Shiny Toy Guns fan; the chemistry and vocally mated sound are dynamite. This is a decent effort by the band, having re-established their original line-up. That said, I feel it falls quite short of the quality found on their freshman album. I'm not expecting to hear complete replications of their We Are Pilots tracks, and I like the idea that their music may be

Although formed in sunny California during the early 2000s, Shiny Toy Guns' music flaunts a sleek, '80s-influenced combination of synth-pop and electro-clash.
