Tumbleweed Connection (Remastered) – Elton JohnView More By Elton John Our ReviewNo one ever accused Elton John and Bernie Taupin of lacking ambition, but the songwriting team's third major album was not only another orchestrated delight, it came complete with the sort of full-on thematic bent that more seasoned artists might not have attempted. Bred of Taupin's fascination with the Old West mythos, Tumbleweed Connection is a love letter to the country that was fast making the pair one of its favorite post-Beatles musical teams. An early version of "Madman Across the Water" is included as a bonus track with this edition.. Tumbleweed Connection belongs in everyone's music collection. Never disappoints. Will hold up 100 years from now.
