Superb Collection (5 stars)
Trace Adkins has created an impressive collection of quality songs sung with heart, humor, and honesty throughout his years with Capitol Records. This collection is a must buy for any Adkins fan. The only fault with this collection is with Capitol itself ~~ it's a shame the label progressively put less and less effort into supporting Adkins until he was virtually navigating his career and recordings solo but still shackled to them. I like this album and I'm not even a country fan! I've always like Trace mainly because of his outlaw attitude. I really like country with an edge, because the rock now a days lacks soul or passion! There's a few artists out there that I feel that I can relate to and Trace Adkins is one of them along with Jason Aldean, Toby Keith, Brantly Gilbert, and a few others.Thanks Road Lizard
