Lyrics?????? Beats????? (3 stars)
I dont know what everyone is raving about? This is nothing like Franti or Spearhead. There are no raw beats. There are no keen and witty lyrics. Its all beach bum sounding,Jack Johnson like,synthesized,sit around a campfire, type of music. The only reason I'm giving it as high as a "3" is because it is Michael Franti and Im an old/huge fan. I believe in his drive as a musician and humanitarian. Please don't tell me cuzz your music

Not sure if I like it but if you know anything about Michael Franti's career this is part of an evolution that has slowly been taking place for some time - especially following his trip to the Middle East.
