The Eminem Show – EminemView More By Eminem Our ReviewOn the follow-up to The Marshall Mathers LP, Eminem set out to broaden his already wide artistic horizons. He makes his most overt nods yet to rock music, borrowing Aerosmith's "Dream On" for the basis of "Sing for the Moment," and gets explicitly political about his job on "White America" ("I could be one of your kids"). At the same time, he takes himself no more seriously than usual, mocking any hint of grandiosity on "My Dad's Gone Crazy," which invites his beloved daughter Hailie to take funny shots at the old man. "Superman" pulls a similar trick not only with the rapper's image, but the macho pose intrinsic to commercial hip-hop.. Customer ReviewsThe Eminem Show (5 stars)I love almost every song on this CD. Here is a full review about the album. (Excluding the skits) White America. A humerous song about the problems in the world. If you like this song, you will like Mosh (Encore). 5/5. Buisness. Pretty Good, not my favorite. Catchy tune though. 4/5 Cleanin' Out My Closet. A great song about how Kim and his mother have skrewed up his life. 5/5 Square Dance. Another Catchy song. Probably one of m Da Best (5 stars) This is Eminem's best album he's made. Every song is awsome an has a rememberable beat. I've listened to it the most out of my CD's. The best songs are (in no order): Cleanin' Out Ny Closet, Square Dance, Without Me, Sing For The Moment, Hailie's Song, When The Music Stops, My Dad's Gone Crazy & Drips. So to sum things up, GET THIS ALBUM!!! eminems best (5 stars) i have listened to all of eminems cd's. not because i love him, because i really liked this one. this one by far is better than encore, a little better than the marshall mathers lp, and completely different than the slim shady lp. - white america (8.5/10) good song, alot like mosh - business (10/10) catchy as hell - cleanin out my closet (8.5/10) i personallly think its not as good as everybody else, but good nontheless - square dance (9/10) BiographyBorn: October 17, 1972 in St. Joseph, MOGenre: Hip Hop/Rap Years Active: '90s, '00s, '10s To call Eminem hip-hop’s Elvis is correct to a degree, but it’s largely inaccurate. Certainly, Eminem was the first white rapper since the Beastie Boys to garner both sales and critical respect, but his impact exceeded this confining distinction. On sheer verbal skills, Eminem was one of the greatest MCs of his generation — rapid, fluid, dexterous, and unpredictable, as capable of pulling off long-form narrative as he was delivering a withering aside — and thanks to his mentor Dr. Dre,...
