Dream-like (5 stars)
Mr. Lawson’s concept here, as I hear it, is to create a very gentle and soothing environment for these famous melodies. The listener is treated to something familiar, rendered in a sublimely unique way. His sense of timing, and the spacing between phrases shows great musical maturity - true pensive beauty.

The “felt between the hammers and strings” effect produces a dark, rich and vulnerable sonority. This gives the piano anot
