Best 80's Pop album; iTunes still needs to catch up (5 stars)
"So" is the best pop album of the 80's. A major depature from his previous efforts like "Birdy", "Security" ("Peter Gabriel 4"), and "Melt" ("Peter Gabriel 3"), So captures the listener with its layered and catchy music that's accesable for anyone. Peter's combination of synthesizers and unusual instrumentation (most notably Tony Levin's crazy bass line throughout the whole album) w

One of the Greatest Non-Pop Pop Albums Ever (5 stars)
OK, you might find some other albums more artistic, but unless you're only into Captain Beefheart, this album is incredible that just HAPPENS to be commercially-viable too. Face it, it only got commercial from the music videos, otherwise most peopie woulda given it a miss. OK, and the movie thing! ;-)

Fantastic album, should be on anyones greatest albums list. Hidden gems are Mercy Street and That Voice Again. One purchase you will not regret. Remastered is an added touch.
