Two words: Raw and Intense (5 stars)
This is one of the rawest, most intense albums I've heard all year. Granted, I've only heard the whole thing once in full, but I'd be damned if this didn't move me. "I Need You" is a ballad soaked in the tears of those left behind by their loved ones. For those who might not know, Cave recently lost his own son in a tragic accident. Amazing. Pure, unadulterated, emotion and bliss in darkness. I'm not even halfway through my first listen and I'm almost in tears. Fantastic output from Nick and the bad seeds. They never disappoint.

Or at least, I expect it will be, considering how good their last album was (& how good his solo work was too-though his work w/ the Bad Seeds is better). There's never been an album he's done w/ the Bad Seeds that's disappointed me!
