Uh... Is this a joke? (1 star)
You know what this sounds like? It sounds like the band was forced to put out a holiday song by their label, but they had some sort of major disagreement over it. So, they put out this record to fulfill the requirement but made a joke of it. Lifehouse ROCKS and is an incredible band, but Jason's vocals here are mediocre at best, the drum beat is lame and the instrumental arrangement sounds like a bad high school band. Something is weird

I love Lifehouse. I have loved Lifehouse since their single "You and Me". But frankly, I hate this song. I think that they could've done much better. Yeah, it's a great Holiday song, but when they sing it....it just doesn't sound right. The song wasn't meant to have such odd sounding drums. Silent Night is meant to be a slow song, not a rock song or the latest hip-hop. The lyrics weren't meant to be played in rock style. It

Led by singer/songwriter Jason Wade, Lifehouse emerged in the early 2000s with a commercial blend of pop/rock melody and throaty, post-grunge vocals. Wade, who originally tagged the band Blyss upon its inception in 1996, was raised by missionary parents in a variety of locales. He eventually settled in Los Angeles with his mother and took a keen interest in songwriting.
