Love this album, so fresh sounding when it came out. Still rocks today. Turn to the left!

the last great bowie album? (5 stars)
It certainly is. Strong songs, a fantastic band and excellent arrangements and production create a powerful, intense record. Robert Fripp does some of his best rock guitar playing and Bowie' s singing voice seems to be at its authoritative peak here. While the instrumentation is densely layered it never feels cluttered or hermetic. Excellent work across the board. Highlights: "It's No Game" (both parts), "Scary Monsters&

Great Album, Delicious Sounds (5 stars)
For some reason, this album makes me think of mental hospitals and prisons. Nonetheless, it's that eeriness that gives it that real kick and makes it a real pleasure to listen to. "Teenage Wildlife" is my favorite track off here. It's crazy awesome! Other favorites are "Ashes to Ashes," "Fashion," and "Scream Like a Baby."
