I'd totally marry Prince, and I'm a dude (5 stars)
With his sophomore release, Prince really started to show off some his incredibly prodigious talent. There is a bit of an edge to a lot of his younger stuff which is missing from his later work that I really admire. As usual, he is the sole instrumentalist on the album, but where he really shines is on the guitar, of course. This is a MUST have for hard core fans!! The second coming of a Prince!! I recieved this LP for Christmas in 1979 and I carried the LP cover around with me at school! LMAO! There is no bigger influence in music for me than, Prince. Being a Minnesota native, from the St Paul/Minneapolis area, Prince is by far a great everything when it comes to music! The self titled album is a great, great ,great ,great album. He never ceases to amaze me at what ever he does!
