A Great Holiday Classic (4 stars)
I'm happy Apple has this available as a single with 2 songs for only 99 cents. This is how I bought this when it was originally released on vinyl in the 1970s. The song "Please Come Home for Christmas" is a timeless classic that got a lot of airplay when The Eagles were in the hedey of "Hotel California." Nifty SoCal Christmas Ditty (4 stars)
An extra star for the staying power. Now considered a Christmas classic in my household. (PS: lehrer was right; total ripoff of the Beatles. Except, of course, for all the different chords and phrasings. And except for the fact that this one was written first and originally recorded years before "Oh, Darling". But aside from all that... total ripoff!!)
