When I saw STYX at VIEJAS in San Diego 2 years ago I was lost in the music. The one thing that stood out was the energy. So much positive being given to the audience and so much returned. I bought the new album with no expectations and all the hopes in the world...What I found was an album that almost broug Actually DOES have everything (5 stars) Styx recorded this concert with a 115 piece orchestra and 56 piece chorus (The CYO). The CYO is actually a group with all members between the ages of 13 and 19. That's impressive. But, even though this may be a direct slap in Dennis's face (he released a live with an orchestra in 2004), the album is solid. The Orchestra sounds amazing and adds new depth to the already fantastic music of Styx. The two new tracks here (Just Be and Everything, Get this album now! (5 stars) This recording is something that everyone must have in their collection. Styx are intense rockers and great musicians and huge kudos to them for teaming up with the Contemporary Youth Orchestra. These kids are playing stronger and better than professionals. This recording is inspirational and needs to be nominated for a Grammy. Bravo to all involved in this project! Each tune is hot. Get the entire album!
