M!ssundaztood – P!nkView More By P!nk Our ReviewWith M!ssundaztood's title track and "Get This Party Started," P!nk announces herself as post-hip-hop-pop's bratty Joan Jett. Soon, though, the album's turned into a female In Utero, as this excellent singer confesses being "a bad, bad girl" ("Dear Diary") and "a hazard to myself" ("Don't Let Me Get Me"), rakes over the coals of a broken family life ("Family Portrait"'s anguished cry of "I don't want to split the holidays") and dysfunctional love affairs ("Just Like a Pill"). This sophomore disc, with its raised artistic stakes and assumption that the mass audience was ready for the raw nerves beneath the polish, indeed brought P!nk greater recognition than the earlier, less convincing Can't Take Me Home. Obviously, a wide swath of a generation identified with both her pain and the bravado she used to push past it.. Customer ReviewsM!ssudaztood - P!nk (5 stars)M!ssudaztood is truly one of the best albums of 2001's time. I mean this album has everything, it really was the perfect album for any artist. It featured so many hits, the whole album was great, every song had at least one unique thing about it, the lyrics were pretty frikkon good, and you could really tell she put a lot more effort into this album than her last one, Can't Take Me Home. Everything changed, her voice, lyrics, and her whole t Great first. (5 stars) Few know that this is the album that made P!nk who she is today. Great album, buy it. Now I'm 13 and the release of Pink's 5th album, Funhouse has just happened. I got more into Pink with her last album, I'm Not Dead. I liked "U + Ur Hand" and "Who Knew," so I checked out more of her stuff. And I found this. I didn't like her third or first CD as much as t BiographyBorn: September 08, 1979 in Doylestown, PAGenre: Pop Years Active: '90s, '00s, '10s Although initially viewed as another face in the late-'90s crowd of teen pop acts, Pink (professionally known as P!nk!) quickly transcended and outgrew that label with her combination of pop songcraft and powerhouse, rock-influenced vocals. Born Alecia Moore on September 8, 1979, in Doylestown, PA, Pink received her nickname as a child, years before she dyed her hair accordingly. She grew up in a musical family and was a regular on the Philadelphia club scene by the age of 13, first as a dancer and...
