This album smokes!!!!! Pure raw talent!!!!!

One of my Favorites (5 stars)
I have always loved Santana, but this CD takes Santana to a whole new level that words cannot explain, you'll just have to listen for yourself. They put their heart and souls into making this music (seriously) The guitar along with conga drums is unparalleled. This album is great and i would do anything to have lived in that generation!

quite possibly the best album I have ever heard. (5 stars)
i would say that this is Santana at its very best, but i dont think Carlos has out out anything other than mind-blowingly beautiful music. "As the Years Go passing By" is amazing. buy the whole album, and listen to it all the way though, you wont be dissapointed. all i can say is wow. :)

Santana is the primary exponent of Latin-tinged rock, particularly due to its combination of Latin percussion (congas, timbales, etc.) with bandleader Carlos Santana's distinctive, high-pitched lead guitar playing. The group was the last major act to emerge from the psychedelic San Francisco music scene of the 1960s and it enjoyed massive success at the end of the decade and into the early '70s.
