This cd sounds like the club got a hold of matisyahu. This sounds nothing like Matis's last albums and i got to say it really makes me sad to know that another one of my favorite artists has fell victim to the pop scene. I mean seriously...Akon and Matisyahu on the same track...terrible. I'm truly sickened to see someone with such a genuine reggae sound make an album that sounds like absolute mainstream garbage.

I am 10 years old and don't normally like this kinda of music, but this song just gives me chills! This song brings all of us humans together! Listen to the lyrics and you will see what I mean!

One Day! (5 stars)
That song helps me have hope for my country, in Africa, where people are being oppressed, raped, killed & are tired fighting daily just to be treated like human beings...5.4 million people have lost their lives in the DRC, more than in WWII. It's my hope that One Day the violence will stop. Thanks Matis!

When Matisyahu emerged in 2004 with his debut album, Shake Off the Dust...Arise, his musical persona seemed to some a novelty. Here was a Hasidic Jew — dressed in a black suit with a broad-brimmed black hat worn over a yarmulke, and sporting a full, untrimmed beard — who nevertheless performed toasting raps about the glories of traditional Judaism over reggae beats in a dancehall style directly from Jamaica.
