Indestructible (Bonus Track Version) – DisturbedView More By Disturbed Our ReviewDisturbed's fourth studio album begins forebodingly with an apocalyptic air-raid siren akin to Black Sabbath's "War Pigs," but where "War Pigs" rails against waging war, the title track here punches with prideful fighting lyrics that almost sound tailor-made for a military recruiting commercial. Those hardcore metal fans who have previously turned their noses up at Disturbed for not sounding heavy enough (or for being too melodic) may be pleasantly surprised at Indestructible's more virulent playing and conceptual songwriting, which is not to say that the chorus on "Inside The Fire" isn't as catchy as the song is brutal. David Draiman sings and screams like a man possessed as his lyrics reveal a dramatic narrative about someone who can only become reunited with his suicidal lover's soul by taking his own life to join her in the fiery cantos of hell. The Bonus Track version comes garnished with three songs recorded from Disturbed's live performance on December 17, 2005 at Chicago's Riviera Thrature; "Stricken," "Down With The Sickness," and "Just Stop" all sound much more raw and explosive sans studio production.. First review....unbiased (5 stars) Disturbed have outdone themselves with this album...The drums are more crisp and syncopated. The gutar and bass work are top notch and the vocal talent of David Draiman are an amazing step up. Buy this album, if you like Disturbed. If you like rock, or metal..or hell even music because this is going to redefine it. Indestructible!! (5 stars) An amazing CD. Disturbed has definitely approached this CD in a new and invigorating way. Or is it really new? No, actually. This style of Disturbed is the cumulation of all of the past 3 CDs (The Sickness, Believe, Ten Thousand Fists) put together and molded to create an unforgiving and epic work of art. David outdoes himself with the vocals. Also, the drum work has been completely revamped and is much more prevalent in this CD than in BiographyFormed: 1996 in Chicago, ILGenre: Rock Years Active: '90s, '00s, '10s Heavy metal band Disturbed came together through the matching of a band with a singer. Longtime friends Dan Donegan (guitar), Mike Wengren (drums), and Fuzz (bass) played together in Chicago for some time before hooking up with singer David Draiman around 1997. Draiman had grown up in a religious family against which he rebelled, being expelled from five boarding schools in his adolescence. His anger found an outlet in the thrashing sound of Disturbed, and the band built up a following on Chicago's...
