Extraordinary (4 stars)
Her first album with Atlantic Records, "I Never Loved A Man..." allowed Aretha to show off her talent as a true songstress of soul. This album is amazing, and worth every cent to get the original 11 tracks and then the 3 bonuses. Aretha is a goddess.

A great musician (5 stars)
Aretha Franklin is obviously an amazing singer but she also played some great piano on many of these tracks. Simply stunning.

Why In The world? (4 stars)
Does the stereo version of Respect have the background vocals louder than Aretha? Lousy mix. Either way this is a great album, full of fabulous memories of life and Aretha.
