One of the finest pieces of recorded music. (5 stars)
I got itunes a year ago and was disappointed not to find this album. I used to own the tape and it was on my daily listening musts. The tape eventually wore out, but the next day I found another at a truckstop in Georgia. That was four years ago. Last year I wrote a letter to itunes about this album with now success. This was followed by four more letters over the course of a year, and today I logged on to find my wishes had come true. I

Anyone who hasn't listened to Joe Cocker has missed out one some of the best blues/rock of all time. The best live concert I've ever been to was Joe Cocker.

After starting out as an unsuccessful pop singer (working under the name Vance Arnold), Joe Cocker found his niche singing rock and soul in the pubs of England with his superb backing group, the Grease Band. He hit number one in the U.K. in November 1968 with his version of the Beatles' "A Little Help from My Friends."
