In less than five years, Atlanta MC Yung Joc has risen from total obscurity, writing advertising jingles with his dad, to international superstardom, selling millions of units and working with the biggest names in rap and pop music. Following the huge success of his debut solo album New Joc City, and the sophomore piece Hustlenomics, he hooks up his devoted fans with Grind Flu an album loaded with all new tracks. 19 tracks deep, it features his customary rhymes all about hustling, grinding, partying, and doing dirt, while also sharing the shine with like-minded players such as Shawty Lo ("Universal Language"), Gucci Mane ("Posted At the Store"), and former No Limit soldier-ette Mia X ("So"). Skittering Dirty South drums, thunderous bass and wheezing synth lines dominate the production, while the sneeze-infused title track is one of the catchiest anthems of the year.

Rapper Yung Joc (born Jasiel Robinson) learned about running his own business from his father, who owned a hair-care products company. It was also his father who gave a teenage Yung Joc his first break, writing a jingle for the Revlon company. Joc decided right then that the hip-hop business was for him, but he needed time to find his own style.
