This rates as one of my favorite albums. I remember when these tunes hit the airwaves (AM Radio!) and by the time I got to listen to them as an album I was hooked. 'Fly Like an Eagle' in the wee hours of a muggy evening (I was 11 then) are pure magic. 'Mercury Blues' is a one of a kind, as is 'The Window'. Mixed in with some SERIOUS music are campy treats like 'Serenade' and 'You Send Me.' But somehow it all works together and the songs stan

Steve Miller's career has encompassed two distinct stages: one of the top San Francisco blues-rockers during the late '60s and early '70s, and one of the top-selling pop/rock acts of the mid- to late '70s and early '80s with hits like "The Joker," "Fly Like an Eagle," "Rock'n Me," and "Abracadabra."
