Well it's a new "direction"... (4 stars)
Hmmmm, not so sure yet, too soon to tell where this new sound is headed. As a big fan of the Radio Hit "Crooked Teeth" it seemed this EP would be great but as it is it is almost overly loud than anything else from death-cab. The sound is Okay but definetly nothing special in the ever-increasing boundaries of Indie-Rock. I myself happen to be a fan of the lush, deep melodies, in songs such as "Tiny Vessels" and "Mar

More of a correction than a review... (4 stars)
The first review on the page, by someone called "NaziGrandma", is somewhat mistaken. He/she refers to Death Cab for Cutie's "new direction" as "more loud than anything else". What I think is the loudest/most overwhelming track, and probably the one he/she is referring to, is "World Shut Your Mouth"... which was first seen as a track on the internet-only "Title and Registration" single... whic

for any beginning death cab fans, start with one of these EPs, like crooked teeth. there are 2 really good b-sides on here and the song which this EP is titled. If you really like this EP, buy Plans. It is a great album all-around.
