It justs keeps getting better doesnt it? (5 stars)
First there was Sounding the Seventh trumpet. Awesome screamo album. We were introduced to Avenged Sevenfold. Then there was Waking the Fallen. It was a mixture of screaming and singing. We got to see the awesomness in M. Shadows voice. Then their was the most recent album City of Evil. Shadows decided not to scream anymore. And went with a more melodic tune. We got see how the band does without screaming. And now thousands of A7X are anxiou

OverPolitical?! (4 stars)
Some of the reviews complained that this song is bad because "now it's hip & cool to be all political." Take a look around in this country. It hasn't become "hip" or "cool" to be "all political." It's all good when bands are angry about mommy & daddy, or whatever other childish things most contemoprary rock band are whining about; but when a band grows up and directs thier anger in a mature

Excellent, excellent track. Although we've been told that the rest of the album won't sound much like this, if it did then it would not be a problem. The organ intro gives us a taste of things to come, if what the band members have said about the new album is anything to go on. Then we hear what we know to be the sound of Avenged Sevenfold. The members of metalcore outfit Avenged Sevenfold (or A7X) were still attending high school in Huntington Beach, CA, when they formed their band in 1999. Nevertheless, it didn't take long for M. Shadows (vocals), Zacky Vengeance (guitar), Synyster Gates (guitar), the Reverend (drums), and Johnny Christ (bass) to make an impression with their aggressive hybrid of metal, hard rock, and punk-pop.
