I had the privilege of seeing Leon's very first show in Chicago and I was completely amazed by his captivating performance. His vocals match his nostalgic 50's-60's style and he was able to bring the theater to a different decade. This record hones inspiration from the greats, most notably the legendary Sam Cooke, like Mr. Cooke, Leon has the ability to generate raw emotion through story-telling lyrics.
