One Of My First LP Purchases... (5 stars)
This is one of the first albums I purchased with my own earned money, back when I was in Junior High School. Prior to this I had only purchased singles, but listened to my older sister's records of the Beatles, the Monkees, and others. This collection had all of the highlights of their early career. The harmony and lyrics of this group are beyond compare. Awesome.

Pre disco (5 stars)
When I think of the Bee Gees I think of this album (Best of Vol 1, not the wrongly reviewed Vol 2). This was one of my of my favorite albums in high school. I will always like the pre disco Bee Gees better than the "Stayin' Alive" time of their careers. Every song on this album stands alone. These songs resonate with a conviciton that belies their relative young ages when the songs were first hits.
