A Different Kind Of Mellow (5 stars)
I remember when this first came out. I've always liked Jimmy and after hearing Track 2 on the radio I went and bought the CD. Well time passed and I got divorced and lost the CD in the split. Now I've re-discovered this gem on I-Tunes (God, I love this store!) and have bought it again. Time tells. I still like this album as much now as I did 10 years ago. My personal favorites are Tracks 1, 2, 4, 5, 8, & 10. But the rest have their good

One of Buffett's best (5 stars)
I'm an avid college-age Parrothead, and this was the album that first introduced me to Jimmy back when I was 8. This is still probably my favorite album of Jimmy's. It's one of his more mellow albums, so if that's what you're looking for, you can't beat this album for 5.99! My favorite tracks are "Barometer Soup", "Barefoot Children", "Blue Heaven Rendezvous", and "Mexico", but they're all still excell

Mellow masterpiece (5 stars)
Having every Buffett album on vinyl from the 80's, tapes from the 90's and now most of his works on CD, Barometer Soup is one of my favorites. Being a boater in South Florida requires music that fits the lifestyle. Every song has a meaning! I recommend EVERY one of Buffet's albums for one reason or another...but this one is on the top of the list.
