It was the spring of 2008 and all was despair. (5 stars)
So I saw this band called the Format in the fall of 2007, and it changed my life. Another cool band called steel train opened for them. It was a show to end all shows. I miss The Format.

If you love The Format! (5 stars)
This is an absolutely brilliant song, It is reminiscent of The Format, but shows Nate Ruess' true ability as a song-writer. You can't help but chant along the whole time. Fun is exactly what a mourning fan of The Format needs!

Following the Format's breakup in 2008, frontman Nate Ruess took his songwriting skills to Steel Train's Jack Antonoff and Anathallo's Andrew Dost, both of whom shared a similar affinity for vintage pop music and quirky, melodic hooks.
