"I Will Always Love You" is a song Dolly Parton WROTE and took to number 1 three different times before she allowed Whitney to cover it. Granted, Whitney did a bang up version, but there are many that still prefer the original Dolly version. There is really no comparison. They are essentially two completely different songs.

A very pale imitation of Kenny Rogers in his prime. Almost an embarrassment.

This should definitely have The Gambler (3 stars)

It took several tries before Kenny Rogers became a star. As a member of the First Edition (and the New Christy Minstrels before that), he shared in some million-sellers, among them "Reuben James" and "Ruby, Don't Take Your Love to Town," an excellent Mel Tillis song about a disabled veteran.
