He Reigns, Shine, and Breakfast should be here too. Just feels like two differnt bands, but both band outings have good songs.

Make no mistake, this is not the best of the Newsboys, at all. This compilations should be called “Greatest Hits pt2” or “Best of 2006-2016” but oh man, this era of the band fell a long way from the soul and talent before Peter left. They just sold out to whatever they new that modern Christian radio would sell easy… nothing wrong with that, I guess, but do not call this compilation their “greatest hits” just an insult to t

Taking a Once Great Band and Fading Into Nothingness (1 star)
Newsboys, once great with Peter Furler and Steve Taylor at the helm, are now reduced to a cover band of popular worship songs. Their new albums continue to be the same, nothing inventive like TAKE ME TO YOUR LEADER. Nothing bold like HELL IS FOR WHIMPS, just common-place, simplisitc, copy-paste worship tunes that add nothing new, whatsoever, to music.
